Path to v1.0.0 Release

We aim to release v1.0.0 by September 2026.

• Optimize performance and scalability. Build out nascent asv benchmarks, and locust load testing.

• Improve the developer experience with additional type hints, and improved modularity.

• Rationalize and simplify CLI and configuration management.

• Continue to develop streaming capabilities.

• Add experimental support for WebDAV, so that Tiled can be browsed natively by file browsers on Windows, MacOS, and Linux.

• Add an experimental framework for links between datasets.
